When doing a thematic resymbolization, present a legend that illustrates the various symbology used. When using the LEGEND command, the user is prompted to place the outline of the legend after the script is completed. Decide where the legend is to be placed as well as its size. The legend consists of a header, footer and body. The header contains a title. The footer can contain a footnote and/or a logo. The body of the legend contains up to 60 symbols and a corresponding description. The legend is stored in the design file as an orphan cell, which can later be edited, moved, scaled or deleted.
